The area of the heart (Anahata) can be challenging for solarised masculine men to open, express healthily and still remain in yang or solar energy. This chakra is part of the mental body and can be challenging to arouse. To activate this area of expression and being, it is essential we have activated the receptive side of our being.

Activation of this area is perhaps not the correct terminology. The essence of our being resides in this space and perhaps it is more about accessing as opposed to activating. Through challenge, horrific experiences, difficulty, pain and confrontation we are naturally asked (often unconsciously) to be compassionate, ‘understanding’, open, connected and loving.

The continual practice of this releases us from limitation and allows us to access our hearts. A nostalgic expression can take place from this space and often for us it is the next level of our evolution as human beings and the next phase of shift for the collective consciousness. It begins with individualised sparked expressions.

The next jump from Manipura to Anahata – many would consider this unrealistic given the current state of global affairs and the expression of our collective consciousness. Of course, it possible but will be challenging.

In reference to relationship specifically, as a man, being solarised and living from this place only will not work for our intimate relationships as the women in our lives will require presence and energy expressed from the three lower chakras. It is imperative to understand that it is the divine grace of the feminine heart that will open ours.

In reference to romantic partnership and intimate relationship irrespective of how open your Anahata is, there needs to be mindful, deep integration, especially in the lower three chakras. They provide us with context, reference points and substance for real world interaction.

Very few women may be able to view the security true love can provide (from Anahata). We need security and safety in the Muladhara also. Anahata is transpersonal and unconditional by nature (universal and not gender bias). It is a soul / anima based true love and generally becomes non- sexual in the space of the eternal.

It is a high ideal where true masculinity openly resides, we do not require anything from anyone else when we live in this space. Death is void and we can literally give endlessly. Compassion, empathy, deep experiential relating, non-judgement, non-attachment all reside deep in the heart.

Where Muladhara correlates with primitive love, Svadisthana with infatuation-based love and Manipura with partnership-based love; Anahata correlates with the 4th body- the mental body. It is an act of the mind based in decisions to committing to love, the world, others and ourselves.

It is true, authentic and not taken back. It is ‘final’, unconditional for life (or lifetimes). We require clarity in this love otherwise we will be riddled with doubt! That is why this love is pure and once we access and acknowledge it, we grow immensely with and through it.

The strong masculine man living from this space leaves the personal life in order to focus deeply on purpose. When Anahata chakra is solar in men it becomes contagious, people magnetise to you and non-Anahata people can be deeply threatened by you.

True Anahata is unbreakable, it perseveres and is consistent and constant in its place. It does not fear for it is purity of courage that stems wholly from love. Not matter what is occurring outside of it, it is unwavering, present, inspired and simply powerful in posture – this is divine masculinity.

Masculine expression at this level is inspired by ideals, thoughts, philosophies and concepts. We fall in (raising and committing) love to ideals and we cultivate devotion to aspects of life such as generosity, kindness, acceptance, clarity, verticality and love.

It is the devotion that is unwavering. The love for higher principles that are fuelled and propelled by high devotion. There is a humble superiority that stems from living in this space. There is a ‘superiority’ of the soul and spiritual accumulation that has transpired and that is then expressed in to the world as presence and wisdom – expansion and growth.

This is not for all men and most will find this idealistic, however. There is great transmutative power when we live form this space. A healthy woman will ignite this heart power within men that are hungry enough to want it and open enough to feel it.
