Conscious Relationships – When Two People Connect With Their Souls
Connection Through Consciousness
Firstly, lets gain clarity on something. Identifying soul connections are not easy. They require deep connection within oneself first and foremost. Astute observation, intuition, internal alignment, intention, clarity in the heart-mind space and an ability and yearning to be present to the who of life – a massive undertaking but one worth the immersion.
This is going to be challenging to define as parts of this are arbitrary, but we will persevere and identify what must be experienced in order to be present to the wonder of conscious soul connections.
Perhaps there is nothing more profound than connecting openly in conscious relationships. To be immersed in intimacy with another that deeply understands you, feels you, sees you and hears you for all that you are, have been and ever will be.
This is the power of conscious relationships – when two people connect with their souls magic happens. We move beyond the physical. Yes, the physical is gravely important and I speak to that more (point number 6 specifically) here, what is crucial to understand though is that our ability to connect in layered and multiple ways leads to deepened bonding, heightened intimacy and greater levels of connected awareness in relationships.
What Is A Soul Connection?
A soul connection allows us to feel a deeper sense of familiarity and awareness around our beloved in intimate relationship. This familiarity then allows us to bond at deeper levels. The magnetism between you both is powerfully strong and at times so strong that you cannot cope with the intensity and disharmony that often accompanies this profound connection.
Perhaps you have met someone and immediately a deep level of relating took place? That’s because the original connection was not merely at the level of the personality. It was at the level of the soul, it went deeper than superficial cultural constructs. And I believe that once you have truly met another that deeply, it’s a connection that will last in perpetuity.
Are Our Relationships Truly That Deep?
Most of our relationships do not reach the realm of great depth and there is profound complexity associated with relationships, for what we may feel carries depth, has very little substance and longevity. To be clear, depth of connection or soul connection is something that can only occur and be maintained when we are fully present to ourselves and life.
We may love our family, blood relatives and children even but not necessarily be bonded at the soul. We can share substantive history with other beings and still not be connected at the deepest level possible. We can have lovers with whom we’ve shared profound passion and intimacy with, alongside the experience of deep connection and then separate as if we were to never have existed.
How can we love another so deeply and then find that love and connection to simply disappear? Perhaps what we once believed was a soul connection, was not?
Soul connections are eternal. Every other relationship we have that is not bonded at the soul, no matter how endearing, caring, open, immersive, kind, intimate or apparently meaningful, will only be temporal if it is not felt at a soul level.
The Truth In Soul Connections
This truth is challenging to accept; especially when we experience this in relationship to people we have felt intimately and profoundly close and bonded to. It’s only when we meet another in the mutual recognition of life’s fundamental mystery that we realise our connection is eternal. This is a liberating metaphysical truth that transcends anything we have previously experienced; here, we ‘know’ fully that our connection is eternal at a soul level.
Let’s also be real for a moment. Relationships needn’t last forever for them to be identified as soul connections. It is the depth of the relationship reached, alongside what continues to be felt after the relationship has ended and the deep transformative teaching’s experienced during and post relationship that determine its soul connection.
How do you feel in that relationship and how profound are your teachings, your growth and transformation? Remember, that just because a relationship may supersede your growth of a previous one, it does not mean that you did not experience a soul connection with that previous person. That relationship perhaps prepared you for this one. If that is not deep, then what is?
Final Thoughts & Feelings
When two people are connected with their souls they simultaneously being out the ‘worst’ and the best in each other. This is profound and beautiful. This is where growth occurs. Soul connections are primarily defined by the level of growth we experience in life and what we do with this deep transformation. Being with this reality opens us up to experiencing multiple deep and transformative soul connections.
One is always glad to be of service.
